Terms of Service

1. About CameraDept

CameraDept is the name under which William Hecht, a sole proprietor ("we", "us"), publishes CamLog, LoaderLog, GearIO and FilmCounter (each an "App"). Contact us at hello@cameradept.app.

2. Which terms apply

Where an App publishes its own terms of service, those terms govern your use of that App. CamLog's are at camlog.app/terms. For any App without its own terms, and for this website, these Terms apply.

3. Accounts and your content

You are responsible for your account and for activity under it. You keep ownership of everything you enter into an App. You give us a limited licence to store, sync and display it only to run the App for you and the people you share it with.

4. Purchases

Paid upgrades are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our reseller and merchant of record. Paddle handles payment, sales tax and VAT, receipts, refunds and chargebacks, so your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.

Each upgrade is a one-time purchase for a single production. It is not a subscription and does not renew. A paid upgrade covers one production; resetting a paid project to reuse it for an unrelated production is not permitted. Price changes never affect upgrades already bought.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Apps unlawfully, try to access accounts or data that are not yours, disrupt the service, scrape it with automated tools, or get around its limits. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these Terms.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The Apps are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. They are tools to help you keep records, not a replacement for your own checks. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the production the claim relates to, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data or profits.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Before bringing any claim, please email us and allow 30 days to resolve it informally.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will say so in the App or by email before it takes effect.
